We are a family owned company offering good clean well furnished holiday chalet accommodation to families who want to enjoy a holiday in the Great Yarmouth/Norfolk Broads area.
Within easy walking distance of the beach yet just 4 miles away from the popular holiday resort of Great Yarmouth. Our chalets are situated at California Sands Estate and Sunbeach Holiday Village on the fabulous Norfolk coast midway between Hemsby and Caister-on-Sea at California, Great Yarmouth. Guests can enjoy the facilities at both locations.
Our prices include membership of the on site Club Oasis and the heated indoor swimming pool. (open Good Friday until end of October) You deserve a relaxing holiday, so take a look around, check the prices and book your holiday.

California Sands Estate:-
“Club Oasis” is a licenced club providing live music, cabaret, family entertainment, children’s entertainment, children's bar, beer garden, Pool Table and Dartboard. If numbers warrant it Cash Bingo is played daily.
The club is open from lunchtime until late at night and it is here that you can sit and enjoy a cool refreshing drink and a snack whilst enjoying the entertainment.
In the evening Sandra, Julie & Mark will be pleased to serve you with a cool refreshing drink while you sit back and enjoy the show.
Membership is included in your holiday price.
“Big Fella’s” restaurant is situated within the clubhouse where Paul and his staff will be pleased to accept your order, be it for a portion of chips or a good substantial meal. Be sure to pre-book your Sunday lunch during high season as the restaurant can get very busy.
Enjoy the "Heated indoor swimming pool" with children’s pool, and snack bar.
Membership is included in the price of your holiday.
Other facilities on site include Minimarket, Launderette, Fish & Chip Shop, Amusements, Ten Pin Bowling, Cafe, ATM, clothes shop.
Sunbeach Holiday Village
This site is next to California Sands Estate and guests may use all of the facilities on this site.
Children's Swings and Slide are located here.
"Dutchy's Tavern", a licenced club providing live entertainment at weekends and during the high season. Bar meals and snacks can be purchased. There is a pool table and amusements within the tavern and there is an outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy the weather or watch your children on the swings and slide.
No membership is required and the bar is open from lunchtime till late.
Buses for Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Hemsby, and Caister-on-Sea stop on California Road adjacent to both sites.
Whenever possible tourist leaflets, brochures and discount vouchers are provided within the chalets and in the foyer at “Club Oasis”.
We strive to make your holiday as enjoyable as we possibly can. Each chalet contains an instruction book for TV etc. together with usefull holiday information. There is a guest book in each of the chalets and we welcome your comments and suggestions, good or bad, after all it’s you we aim to please and you we cater for.
Pets are allowed on the beach at California but restrictions do apply on other local beaches throughout the summer months. There are plenty of signs telling you if, and when, restrictions apply.
